“The most difficult times for many of us are the ones we give ourselves.”

My practice centers around helping people heal from trauma.  Be it a big-T trauma or a little-t trauma, the effects on the nervous system are the same.  I am passionate about assisting clients with getting unstuck from old ways of thinking, behaving, relating, and emoting.  It takes a lot of energy to maintain those old patterns and keep the traumatic material at bay.  When we can shift those patterns, there is more energy that is freed up that can be used for creativity, spontaneity and genuine connection with others.  I believe that this is our natural state of being and a human birthright.

Trauma creates blocked energy in the form of distorted thinking, emotional and behavior problems.  The blocked energy is then manifested in various addictions, codependent behaviors, depression, anxiety and just plain limits the embodiment of our authentic selves.  These “dysfunctional” adaptations are, in truth, an amazing call, a magnificent opportunity, for our healing, expansion, and growth.
